This Cookie Policy explains how spurdoverse.app ("Spurdo", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website, and what choices you have. It forms part of our Privacy Policy and should be read alongside it.
This Policy covers the website only. Data collected by our loader and software, including your hardware identifier (HWID), is described in the Privacy Policy and is not collected using cookies.

Legal basis: your consent, where required by applicable law. Blocking these will not break the site, but preferences will reset on each visit.
2.4. Analytics
Help us understand how the website is used so we can improve it. These tell us which pages are visited, how long visits last, where errors occur, and which sources refer traffic. Where possible we configure analytics to use anonymized or truncated IP addresses.

Legal basis: your consent. We do not set analytics cookies before you give consent where consent is required.
2.5. Advertising
We do not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If this changes, we will update this Policy and request your consent before setting such cookies.
3. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies are set by third parties whose services we use. Those parties process data under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. The categories of third parties involved are:
- Payment processors and cryptocurrency gateways — fraud prevention and completion of transactions at checkout.
- Security and bot-protection providers — protecting the site against attack and automated abuse.
- Analytics providers — measuring website usage.
- Community platforms — where you choose to connect or visit a linked community service such as Discord, that service sets its own cookies under its own policy.
We do not control third-party cookies and cannot manage them on your behalf beyond the consent controls we provide.

4.3. Do Not Track
There is no common industry standard for handling "Do Not Track" browser signals, and we do not currently respond to them. Where applicable law requires us to honor an opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control, we will do so.
4.4. What we cannot switch off
Security and anti-fraud measures that are necessary to protect the Services, prevent payment fraud, and enforce account terminations may continue to operate regardless of your consent choices, on the basis of our legitimate interests or as strictly necessary to deliver a service you requested.
5. How Long Cookies Last
Retention periods are indicated in the tables above. Actual durations may vary slightly depending on the provider and your browser settings. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. You can delete any cookie manually at any time through your browser.
6. Your Rights
Cookies may involve the processing of personal data. Your rights in relation to that data, including access, correction, deletion, objection and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, are described in section 7 of our Privacy Policy.
7. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our site, providers or legal obligations change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Where changes are material, and where required by law, we will ask for your consent again.
