Author rules
Updated October 22, 2026
Anyone whose account isn't blocked on the market can sell. Scripts and libraries are published with spd publish, which needs a confirmed email. The item is yours; the platform, payments and buyer protection are ours.
Who can sell
- Configs and CS2 Inventory loadouts — any account: the item is created in «My items» from your own Cloud config or Inventory set. A config you bought can't be listed.
- Scripts and libraries — only through the CLI: spd login and spd publish work with a confirmed email. The package is named @scope/slug with your own scope, which is bound to your account on the first publish.
- An author blocked by moderation can't publish items or release versions.
Publishing and checks
- Configs and loadouts aren't moderated by hand: once the automated checks pass, the item and every version are live. A config must be non-empty, up to 4 MB, valid JSON; a loadout holds 1 to 1000 items whose skins and finishes exist.
- Scripts and libraries are built on the server with the same bundler as spd build and go through automated checks: imports, permissions, registry dependencies, sources in src/ that aren't obfuscated or minified, banned file hashes, size — the JS bundle up to 120 MB. Very long lines in code are only a warning and don't block publishing.
- When the automated checks pass, the version goes live in its branch at once. A moderator looks by hand at two things only: versions whose final permissions (their own plus their libraries') include ffi or filesystem, and versions that look like a fork of another author's item that doesn't allow forks. A decision usually takes up to a day.
- Text, image, price and discount edits of a published item apply as soon as you save. Moderation looks at them on reports.
- The description lists the features honestly and the screenshots are yours: up to 10 JPG, PNG or WebP images up to 10 MB, up to 8 tags. Someone else's interface, «no bans» promises and links to other shops get an item taken down.
- If a moderator rejected a version or asked for changes, the reason is in the item editor under «Decision history». Fix it and publish a new version.
Branches and versions
- An item has three branches: stable, beta and dev, each with its own version and changelog. Loadouts have stable only.
- Beta can be open to all buyers or granted only; dev is granted only.
- Rollback: any earlier version of a branch can become current again — it's released under the next number marked «rollback», with no new review. Moving a build from beta or dev to stable isn't reviewed again either: the code is the same.
Prices and discounts
- The minimum price is $0.50. Configs are free or forever, scripts forever and/or for 7, 30 or 90 days, libraries always free.
- A discount is 5% to 90%, with an end date, at most once every 14 days per item. The struck-out price must be one the item actually sold at.
- A promo code doesn't stack with a discount: the buyer gets the better of the two.
Grants
You can grant access to testers, streamers or as compensation — for a term or forever, up to 20 grants a month. Grants are free for the recipient, earn nothing and are listed in the grants log.
Reviews from grants don't affect the rating. Mass-granting access instead of selling is a violation.
Income and commission
- The market commission is 20% of every sale.
- If the buyer signed up through your referral link — 10%.
- Income is on hold for 7 days — the dispute window. After that it's available to withdraw or move to your balance. More in the withdrawal rules.
Supporting buyers
Reply to reviews right on the item page — the «Reply» button under a review; the share of answered reviews shows in your profile. When a moderator needs your side of a dispute, you get a notification: answer and, if you can, fix the problem — the decision takes your answer into account. See disputes and refunds.
